High Performance Art receives Special Mention at Corporate Art Awards

The High Performance Art Gallery has been honoured with a Special Mention at the prestigious Corporate Art Awards® 2018 - "For the promotion of art to a wide international audience of travellers".

Furthermore: "The High Performance Art Gallery experience has been considered as a unique example of best practice which should be promoted around the world in that other major international airports would follow this path." 

 

The award was presented to Ann Aldridge, Gallery Director and Alex Prior, Gallery Manager by Curator Luca Desiata on 28th November 2018 as part of the "Art Patrons of the XXI Century" ceremony in the European Parliament in Brussels within the celebrations of the European Year of Cultural Heritage.

 

The 2018 awards saw the participation of over 80 renowned companies and institutions from 32 countries.

The winners included international institutions such as The World Bank and The British Council as well as prestigious companies like Bulgari and BMW.

 

The "Art Patrons of the XXI Century" Awards aim to enforce visibility, recognition and reputation for those Institutions, Corporations and Private Investors who have actively contributed to the development of the Arts and the society.

 

Corporate Art Award:

 

The "Corporate Art Award®​" programme was established in 2016 to strengthen visibility, recognition and reputation

for the best practices in the collaboration between the corporate and the art world.

This year's award scheme has been made possible by LUISS Business School, pptART and The European Parliament with its 'The European Year of Cultural Heritage.

The programme's founder and curator Luca Desiata from pptART / LUISS Business School, represented the jury.
